The following excursions are available to be booked on line at the time of registration.

City Tour
Take a brief panoramic tour of Birmingham, accompanied by your qualified blue badge guide.

Home of the Industrial Revolution, and known throughout the world for its innovation, Birmingham is the city of a thousand trades, not least for it’s world famous Cadbury’s chocolate! This evening you will witness it’s history via coach and on foot. This city been re-invented itself as a world class multi-cultural scene, combined with superb shopping, restaurants and bars, especially the award winning architecture of Brindley place where you may wish to dine at the conclusion of the tour.

Friday 4 September
Departing from the Barber Institute of Fine Arts at - 18:30
Returning to the Barber Institute of Fine Arts at -19:45
 
Tickets - £20 per person

At the end of the tour, the coach will be returning to The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, however it will be stopping in the city centre for anyone not wanting to return to the University immediately.

Cancellation Policy for Excursions
All cancellations must be sent to MCI UK Ltd in writing (fax, letter, or e-mail). For cancellations received before 15 July 2009 a full refund will be made. MCI reserves the right to cancel any excursions due to lack of interest, in which case a full refund will be made.

Barber Institute of Fine Arts
There will be no official tour of the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, however the Institute will be open to the public during the meeting.
Opening hours: Monday - Saturday from 10:00 - 17:00
Sunday 12:00 - 17:00
Admission is free.
